Situated in a lush green environment of Air Force station Lohegaon, the Masoom playschool is an ideal place for children to learn, play and grow.
The playschool is run by AFWWA (Air Force Officers Wives Welfare Association) where tiny tots are kept busy with creative work before joining a formal school. The playschool is well equipped with blocks and puzzles, a dramatic play area, colourful tables and chairs, art supplies, a music corner, projectors, reading materials and smart screens.
The school has trained teachers, administrators and helpers with an ongoing training program for up-gradation of skills. The school has shifted to the digital platform and offers its students the facility of a digital daily diary, daily communication, online fee payments and receipts. We have adopted an activity-based curriculum and lesson plans where the teaching methods are the same as prevalent in the best national and international schools.

Our History
To facilitate the families of air warriors posted across the nation, AFWWA runs 113 playschools, which gives them preschool facilities for toddlers even in such terrains where other preschools are not available.
AFWWA play centre in Lohegoan, Pune was opened in the year 1998 to meet the requirements of the preschool children of Air Force personnel. It is now open to the children of civilians too. Preschool years are a crucial time for the child. We encourage the development of essential skills while having fun.
An equal emphasis is placed on the physical, emotional and moral development of each child. Standardised and innovative teaching methods are used along with a balanced curriculum aligned with the new NEP( National Education Policy). Our play centres boast of professionally qualified teachers and trained helpers.
