Neev Special School
The methodology of our teaching is influenced by the Reggio Emilia and Waldorf way of education. Lesson plans are planned with the individual capacity of the children in mind. We follow a structured and customized curriculum with the learning outcomes in mind. We use a custom-made school ERP which caters to the needs of the Assessment and Individual Education Plan (IEP) of the child.
Our focus is on free play and physical activities for children. We have tried to build an atmosphere that is homelike and friendly with different types of areas to explore, play and learn. There are outdoor garden areas, playhouses, pretend play areas, bright classrooms, an in-house kitchen and dining area, 2000 sqft covered terrace with a grass mat for multi-purpose use.
The school has 4 years of pre-primary education which are the foundation years for the children. After this the children can go on to any inclusive schools following CBSE, ICSE or NIOS. If a regular school is not a good fit then the children will have to join another special school catering to higher classes.

Our History
We opened our door in the year 2016 to offer daycare and activities and by 2017, we had started the preschool. We have a diverse mix of students who are the local residents and the children of the floating IT crowd who stay in Newtown. We started as a preschool and have organically developed into an inclusive school over the years. In 2022 we formally started the Neev Special School for children with special needs.
Our principal started working with special schools in 2020 developing teaching strategies and curricula for them. We have the advantage of a robust curriculum and teacher training program which is being followed by many other special schools in the country.
